Iconic watch manufacturer, Franck Muller and Oman’s leading luxury watch and lifestyle boutique, Mistal have collaborated to create two limited-edition collections.
The two forces from the horology universe have come together to launch the collections that showcase 50 individually numbered timepieces in the Vanguard model and 10 Vanguard Crazy Hours. Made exclusively for the Sultanate, the Franck Muller Vanguard Oman Edition and Vanguard Crazy Hours have been created in association with Mistal.
The fascinating Franck Muller Vanguard Oman Edition and Vanguard Crazy Hour a hand-brushed Grade-2 titanium case measuring 41.0 mm in diameter, and 49.95 mm in length with thickness of 12.2 mm and are water resistant up to 30 metres. The Vanguard Crazy Hour gets a special touch with a Red colour crown tip along with a hologram on the dial that has never been seen on this Franck Muller model before.
Both the novelties feature Islamic/Indian hours, minutes, and seconds hands that are super luminous. The date display at 6 o’clock is super luminous as well. The distinctive applique numerals have been meticulously hand-polished and hand-brushed in both collections staying true to the craftsmanship of Franck Muller.
Franck Muller, for the first time, released a dial featuring the Sultanate of Oman written in Arabic Calligraphy at the 6 o’clock position enclosed in sapphire crystal glass.
The winding shaft has three positions for winding, date setting, and time setting. The movement decoration includes Côtes de Genève and brushing soleil papier on the bridges and rotor. The main plate has circular graining on both sides and the bridges are chamfered. The components have 24k gold bath and rhodium plating, with 24k gold finish on the written engravings. The rotor ball bearing is circular brushed, while the barrel is brushed soleil papier and polished at 45°. The ratchet is also brushed soleil and polished, and the screws are polished and blued. The bracelet is a beautiful hand-sewn alligator/rubber strap with a black PVD coating and a brushed Grade-2 titanium folding buckle.
The two self-winding references are powered by Franck Muller in-house 800-DT manufactured automatic movement with a 42-hour power reserve in a fine showmanship of bringing together watch-making technology and traditional know-how.
Each of these models has been designed and executed by Mistal with the support of Franck Muller.

تعاون كل من فرانك مولر، مُصنع الساعات الأيقونية، وبوتيك الساعات الفاخرة الرائد في سلطنة عُمان، مستال، لإبتكار مجموعتين من الساعات محدودتي الإصدار.
وقد اجتمعت القوتان من عالم صناعة الساعات لإطلاق المجموعات التي تعرض 50 ساعة مرقمة بشكل فردي من طراز فانجارد و10 ساعات من مجموعة الساعات المجنونة من فانجارد. وجاء تصميم فرانك مولر فانجارد إصدار عُمان ومجموعة الساعات المجنونة حصريا لعشاق الساعات في السلطنة بالتعاون مع مستال.
تتوفر مجموعتي فرانك مولر فانجارد إصدار عُمان والساعات المجنونة من فانجارد علبة من التيتانيوم المصقول يدويًا من الدرجة الثانية والذي يبلغ قطره 41.0 ملم وطوله 49.95 ملم وسماكته 12.2 ملم والذي يتميز بمقاومة للماء حتى 30 مترًا. كما وتتمتع مجموعة الساعات المجنونة من فانجارد بلمسة خاصة والأول من نوعها في تصاميم فرانك مولر حيث يأتي رأس التاج باللون الأحمر، بالإضافة إلى صورة ثلاثية الأبعاد على القرص.
يتميز كلا الإصدارين بعقرب ساعات ودقائق وثواني إسلامية/هندية فائقة الإضاءة، وتكون أكثر إضاءة عند عرض التاريخ في موضع الساعة 6، كما وتم تلميع أرقام الزينة المصصمة يدويًا بدقة شديدة لتظل وفية لحرفية فرانك مولر.
ولأول مرة، أصدر فرانك مولر قرصًا يظهر كلمة سلطنة عُمان مكتوبًا بالخط العربي في موضع الساعة 6 محاطًا بزجاج من الكريستال الياقوتي.
يتحكم عمود التشغيل بثلاثة مهام وهي اللف وضبط التاريخ وضبط الوقت. تشتمل زخرفة الحركة على النمط الزخرفي للخطوط المستقيمة أما الجسور والدوار فتتميز بتشطيب اوراق الشمس . الصفيحة الرئيسية لها شقوق دائرية على كلا الجانبين وجسور مسطحة. تحتوي المكونات على ذهب عيار 24 قيراط وطلاء من الروديوم مع تشطيب ذهبي عيار 24 قيراط على النقوش المكتوبة. كما تم صقل محمل الدوار بشكل دائري، بينما صُقلت الإسطوانة على 45 درجة، بالإضافة الى تَميز التروس بلمسة اوراق الشمس ولمعان البراغي الزرقاوية.
أما سوار الساعة فقد صُنع من جلد التمساح/ المطاط وخُيّط يدويًا بطلاء أسود من مادة PVD وقفل مزدوج قابل للطي من التيتانيوم المصقول.
أُبتكرت هذه التحف الفنية التي تجمع بين التفوق في تقنية صناعة الساعات وأصالة المعرفة بمحرك 800-DT الخاص بفرانك مولر حيث تتميز بحركة أوتوماتيكية ثنائية الاتجاه ذاتية التعبئة باحتياطي طاقة يصل إلى 42 ساعة.
